What’s News – May 2018 – Red Herring Digital Melbourne

We’ve had a jam-packed month at Red Herring. With a new recruit and an appearance at the Million Paws Walk there’s been plenty happening to keep us on our toes at our digital agency.

Meet Grace, our newest team member.

This month we welcomed a new face to our digital agency. Grace is joining us to offer Public Relations and we are excited about what we can achieve now that we have a PR professional within the Red Herring midst. Grace hails from Sydney and she will be working with us to create stronger relationships with our clients and customers for Red Herring and think of new avenues to talk to consumers.

As well as this, Grace will be lending her expertise to help lift our brand new app, Park Your Pet to record heights! We’re pleased to announce that we can now offer a PR service to all of our customers, and will be integrating Grace’s expertise into everything that we do here at our digital agency. Want to see who else makes up our Red Herring Digital team in Melbourne? Spreading awareness for our brand new app at the RSPCA million paws walk.

We’ve been busy developing Park Your Pet, and last weekend we finally had the chance to show all the dog lovers of Melbourne what we’re all about.

On 20 May, seven thousand people (and their dogs) walked to show their support for animal cruelty. Each year, the RSPCA has over 250,000 animals come through their doors needing care – together, that’s a million paws! Victoria alone raised $125,148… And it was great to be apart of it!

There was market stalls, live music and entertainment, loads of food for us (and the pooches), as well as free veterinary checks!

We also ran a competition on the day that had pooch lovers enter to win an awesome hamper that was kindly donated by pet store at Habitat Pets. We loved seeing all the entries on our social pages— Search #ParkYourPet on Instagram to see all the creative entries, or simply click here.

It was a fantastic and rewarding day for Red Herring, we were up at the crack of dawn and braved the cold weather, but it was worth it being able to contribute to such a great cause and as well as letting dog lovers know all about our app.

The Million Paws Walk is about more than having a fun day out meeting new furry friends. It’s the RSPCA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, so it was great that our digital agency was able to be a part of it.
